Hi, I graduated last spring with a degree in AdPr and have been struggling to get a job since. I have a background in social media and have been acting as the socials manager for the coffee shop I barista at for over 2 years now. During college I also volunteered as community outreach and communications for a local dog rescue. Additionally I’ve been learning UX design since graduating. However I can’t seem to get anywhere in the job hunt, even after having my resume reviewed by numerous people and doing my best to network. I’d really appreciate any advice on how to break into the industry, after so many applications I’m getting discouraged. Thank you!! -Bailey

When a celebrity/public figure gets cancelled, releases their inevitable apology/statement and then decides to disappear for a while from the public eye, how long is too long? Is there ever a length of time that makes it more difficult to make a comeback? What dictates when this comeback will be made?

I can not even bear thinking about this very long because of the pain I feel for them and their families. How do crisis communicators look after themselves when dealing with such heavy grief?

Shifting public blame - the banging that is being reported *may* prove the submersible is simply lost and the people are still alive as of this stage in the rescue mission - if the time runs out on the O2 the blame could shift to the failure of the government/public resources to find them in time. It will be interesting to see how this story shifts and develops. We already see this messaging with the stories on the paperwork delay.
