How much is too much

Hi, I’m new to Kratom! I started taking it a few weeks ago. I’ve been taking about 1/2 teaspoon once or twice a day. I’m really nervous about getting dependent on it so, I just suffer through my anxiety most of the time except for the few hours of relief I get from Kratom. I’m also tapering off of 1 mg of Klonopin. If I were to take 1/2 teaspoon of Kratom 3 times a day would that cause me to get too depended on Kratom. I’ve also been using just stem and vein on two days out of the week and sometimes I take Kava instead of Kratom. I buy my Kratom and Kava through the people that Joey recommends. My anxiety is at an all time high and I need to relax.

Hi! In short, yes. If you take a 1/2 teaspoon, 3 times daily, you will build up a dependence. When you feel the need to go up because the effects seem to wear off, go down instead. Reduce your kratom intake for 3 days and when you back up to your usual dose, you will notice a big difference. The key is not chase the dragon. When you think you need to go up on your dose, is when you need to go down for a short time. And yes, stem and vein is the way to go to keep your tolerance low. The more you can substitute s&v for regular kratom, the better you'll be in the long run. Less is more!
