My child has an event coming up during which their bio will be read out loud. In their bio, they state that they want a same-sex partner in the future. The child is not yet a teenager. My partner and I have been LGBTQIA+ advocates forever, so it didn't really phase us. However, it just occurred to me that I have to somehow emotionally prepare MY parent for this prior to the event. Parent is of course a Christian, and is deeply offended by gay people. I can't even tell them that I am non-binary and I'm pushing 40. How does one open these kinds of discussions with bigots?

How can ordinary ex-christians and soon to be ex-christians take steps to help educate and lead their communities in protest, and how can atheist activists encourage more support by leveraging current politics?

Jegaysus how do I make sense of Levicitus 20:13 and others verses like it because it literally says homosexuality is wrong and I need a way to convince my friends it's not.

There are various versions of the story, some may be about the fusion of the Devil and Christ as brothers, others about the stealing of the keys of hell by Christ. Waiting for explanation!!

Why is it that the bible says the homosexuality is a sin, but Jesus never mentioned anything remotely related to it?
