I've researched this a bunch and have not found much good info on it or a doctor who could do better than speculate at an answer.

Do you think it's problematic to donate platelets and plasma while T optimized, where RBC is returned and only the platelets and plasma are drawn? 

I'm AB+ (universal platelet/plasma donor), so like to be able to donate to those I need, but would like to know if I am setting myself up for a dangerously high RBC count in the process...
