I've started my internship search and it's just Sept so it's still in the initial stages. I've prepared upto 60ish%. Nothing is completely new to me, but I have a lot of practice to do to reach the point where I can see patterns quickly. But I'm quite demotivated seeing my peers. Some are behind, many are ahead. Just breezing through the OAs. And it makes me feel like.. is it too late? I'm planning on grinding LC for the next 3 months and hopefully crack it by Dec-Jan. So my question is, how would you handle this mental block? Seeing your peers just a lot more solid on LC and feeling like.. What if I fail? I would really love your insight!
Which programming language is suggested for solving DSA questions and which language did you use in your interviews? Also, did you take any online courses to master DSA?
Is it better to apply early or apply later but with a referral? I see positions opening for new grad but I’m scared to apply regularly since I’ve been rejected by mid tier companies despite interning at a major company. If I see an opening, I try to go on LinkedIn and ask for referrals but that’s taking a few days.
