Hi, you always talk about ways to go into tech by studying CS in college you pose it as the best option (which I agree) but many don't have this opportunity. How can they break into tech (when you always don't recommend bootcamps and self taught) You should include non CS graduates who want to break into tech but don't have the opportunity to go to CS college

Hey guys I’m a freshman at Vanderbilt and want to do HOD (business) Primary major and CS (secondary major )but would not be in the school of Eng. Would that affect me when applying for jobs latter on ? I got in as a CS major and don't have any incoming credits which requires me to take math basically eery semester until I graduate which is not somethings that I want to do.I also want to have something to fall back on if CS doesn't work out for me. I would appreciate some opinions on this

Is masters in computer engineering or cs important for job ? Does it matter when it comes to pay wise etc. Is getting more than one degree important ( example : ce and cs )

Hey, I wanted to ask a question about degrees. Im currently a mechanical engineering student at one of the russel group uni’s in the UK. My university offers this intensive year In Computer Science for stem students where we study computer science for a dedicated year and my degree then becomes: BEng in Mechanical Engineering with Year In Computer Science The course is designed to cover a lot into one year. And effectively cover the main parts of the bachelors degree. I was considering switching degrees to CS before but I was recommended by my CS department to do this. My question is would I be at a disadvantage, degree wise, compared to the other CS students when applying for jobs even tho im doing engineering and CS now? Or could this actually help me stand out?
