hey, I graduated highschool in 2013, and my college career has been horrible. Not only I procastined for 4 years at a community college but kept taking this mediocre classes that didn't help me at all. Fail/dropped to many classes from the age 18-24 therefore my gpa dropped bad to a point where i was susspended from my community college. When I turned 26 I retook some of the courses again at the same community college and started to raise my gpa up again. I've taken college very serious from then but 2020 came around and my mediocre self fell again. Fall 2021 took four courses at CC and dropped 3 and just passed 1 course again. After then I've been doing better at my courses. The issue I have now is that it's getting complicated to get accepted into a 4 year univeristy as a transfer student. I applied fall 2022 to a local univeristy here in dallas but got rejected due to my gpa. I took two summer classes this year 2023 and earned a letter 'a' & 'c' . My gpa went from being 2.5 to 2.7. I'm thinking in applying for spring semester again to the same university but what should I do in case I don't get accetped? I'm applying to earn a software engineering degree. im 28 btw. I know college is very important but what if i get rejected again? any thoughts? I've taken four times Java(programming fundamentals II) because the first two times I dropped the class due to personal issues(finance, parental sick, work etc). This fall semester I'm retaking Java, Linear algebra, and Data structure & algorithms. any thoughts in my sitatuion?
