How can I get a junior developer role

I have a bad going going into junior year but I really enjoy comp sci, however with it being a competitive field I’m pretty nerve out going into this year. I almost feel like giving up.

Im a college sophomore right now and im a little worried that if i dont get an internship this summer that i wont be able to get one in the summer of my junior year. Do companies typically hire juniors or is it gonna be much harder to get an internship?

I’m going to be a junior in high school next year and I have never really focused or have gotten good grades so going to a top school is kinda out of the question do u still think I could get into software engineering and be able to succeed in it?

I’m civil engineering junior student, and I’m starting to prepare for the FE exam because I keep hearing my classmates saying they’re taking it, but I’m wondering if it’s really worth it? Have you taken it? And what’s your thoughts about it? And last but not least, how can I be prepared for it?
