Hey. Can I be a self-taught programmer and work at FAANG or any other companies?

I’ll a freshman going into penn state and I’ve been thinking a lot about rushing I just don’t know if I will have the time . All my old high school friends are rushing and the people I’ve met here so far that I click with the most are also probably going to rush. I’m friendly with all my engineering floor mates and stuff I just don’t think we are similar enough to be good friends . So my main question is how were you able to study computer engineering while also being a fraternity . I want to keep my grades as high as possible and I know that I’m not the best student ever so I will need to spend a lot of time studying. At penn state rush doesn’t start until spring for freshman so I do have a lot of time to think about it.

Yo, my school uses the British system and I'm about to start my gcses of which includes computer science. Ive been seeing alot of content lately showing alot of complicated math in computer science and I'm not the best in my math class. This gets me really scared that I'm not gunna do well and I'm going to fail. So I wanted to ask you from your personal experience was there alot of math and if so did you do well with the math?

Was wondering given your large frame. Also wondering what style of routine you follow(calisthenics, bodybuilding, powerlifting)
