I’m 13 and would like to go to college when I graduate high school or community college, if I need to go. Do you think there will still be a lot of high paying computer science jobs in 5-8 years? Do you think there won’t be a lot of software engineers in the future?

I have heard a lot about Artificial Intelligence and ChatGPT taking Software Jobs. Is it still worth it to go into the field?

Do you suggest trying to a lot of connections on LinkedIn? I've heard getting 500+ is good because that's max amount it will show on a profile and that it helps with the algorithm.

Electrical engineering is broad and a lot of people go into hardware and software so I was wondering whether you think software is a good route from EE or whether I should stick to more traditional EE jobs i.e. hardware, signal processing, power, etc

Started my first SWE job not too long ago and finding it very challenging(understanding the codebase, etc etc). When you first started did you find it challenging or overwhelming at first? Did you work a lot of after work hours or weekends to understand everything?
