You are working as a software engineer right now and while you are certainly making an affluent salary, be the true financial freedom comes from working being optional. When do you plan to transition from renting out your time to earn an income to something that is detached from your time, and what business ideas do you have? Thanks for the great content.

Hey man I just wanted to ask some questions about where to save and invest my money, I’m 17 after I graduate I plan to move to Alaska where I have a job that pays for room and meals and since there is no state tax in Alaska I’ll be making $28 an hour that I almost keep to keep all to my self. I don’t plan on staying there forever but since I’ll have almost no expenses I was wondering where is my money best put. Like a high yield savings account or in an index fund or maybe something I don’t know about? I would like to invest the money I save maybe into real estate or something else that will generate more income for me, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
