Hello there, I’m in my senior year in high school and deeply aspire to attend Georgia Tech for my undergrad. I would love to hear your experience at the university and some advice to get in would be great as well. Thank you for your time☺️.
Do you suggest trying to a lot of connections on LinkedIn? I've heard getting 500+ is good because that's max amount it will show on a profile and that it helps with the algorithm.
Hey Baxate I’m on my drive up to GaTech right now and will be a sophomore transfer. I’m interested in either computer engineering or computer science but not sure yet because of all the possibilities with the thread paths but I’ve done a good amount of research on them. Was wondering what advice you would have for someone in my position besides the basic do’s and do nots of college since GaTech is such a unique place. A bit more info about myself and what I’m looking to do there and will narrow it down and I don’t expect all of it to happen at once. Wanting to do a design competition team like Hytech Racing which I did last year at my previous uni or Robobjackets, competitive programming team or the cybersecurity one greyhat, Greek life most likely, a finance or entrepreneurship related club, create X down the line and possibly research through GTRI. Will be off campus as well and I stay pretty active fitness wise. Was also thinking of starting content just as a day in the life of a transfer student because I think it would be fun. Was wondering how you started on social media and any advice you have for someone that will most likely not have much time to make high quality content?
If I plan on getting an internship for summer 2024 but don't have much experience yet. Can I put relevant coursework that I will be taking during the 2023 fall semester and 2024 spring semester or should I only put relevant coursework that I've already completed?
