Hey, I’m a rising Senior in the college app process and really like your videos. Right now I’m planning to apply to major in finance or business analytics, but am a little hesitant because I’ve heard the field is extremely boring and can be difficult to climb up in. I’ve somewhat considered CS or Software Engineering but have no experience and no idea if I’d like it. I’ve also considered economics, math, or statistics. Do you have any advice on picking a major that suits your preferences but also has a good ROI (after all college is an investment) Any advice is welcomed🗣️

When you speak, you sound very prepared and articulate. You don’t hesitate or stutter at all. 😭I wish I could be more like you, but I think I lack confidence because I don’t have a good physique or a job yet. Can you upload study tips/how to study? i like your content it increased my motivation for computer science, I will start the major next week and i may take your note on how did you study in college and the key of completely understanding the subject and getting high grades.
I had a short conversation with someone and it went like this. Random Person: “Where do you see yourself at the ages 21, 25, and 30.” Me: “21: In college 25: Living comfortably 30: Still living comfortably. Maybe I’ll start a business.” Random Person: “25 is too young to be living comfortably, maybe at 27.” Me: “I plan to be a software engineer and they make 100k+ a year, that’s living comfortably to me.” Random Person: “You plan to be. I highly doubt you'll be a software engineer making 100k at 22. There's lots of schooling involved and Al is taking jobs so who knows what the job market for that may be in a decade. I'm not saying you can't but, it's important to have a plan B incase plan A doesn't work.” Is it better to have other career options? How does that work if I spent most of my life working to be a software engineer?
