I’m currently an incoming computer science freshmen in a california community college deciding whether to transfer to something relatively cheap such as ucla or ucsd , or to a school like georgia tech. Taking into account the alumni status, career opportunities, etc. would you say the out-of-state tuition [average ~$30k a year (mine may be less due to low income)] is worth it in the long run?

Hello Baxate! I graduated with an associates degree in science at age 18 (I did high and college together) with the thought of graduating 2 years early. Because of the amount of classes in my degree plan it may take the regular time to graduate with my Bachelor’s. I am REALLY bad at coding or just anything in Computer Science but I’m still looking to get better. My family is also very dependent on me so I really want to find a a software engineer internship or job soon! How do I get started with that. I am considered a senior already because of the amount of credits I have but I am a junior based on the year of college I’m in. Do I need side projects to land a paid internship? What do I need to do??
