I’m going into my senior year of HS and I’ve been enjoying your content for a while on tik tok and was wondering if you could help me figure out what I should do this year so that I can get a SWE job like you. I’ve taken all the CS classes available to me at my high school and am now working on my first project, which is a react site with a spring-boot maven backend hosted on an EC2 instance with a MySQL database hosted on AWS RDS. The project is intended to be a part of a non-profit project that I am working on with a partner, and thought that making the site could be good to get me working with more technologies that I wouldn’t use in class. Besides taking DSA at a local college this year, what else / what other projects would you say I should do to get me used to the type of work that is done on the job?
