Hi Baxate, I am a HUGE fan of your content and watch at least one of your videos every single day. You made me want to pursue software engineering while my love for computing science was still growing. Im 14 and really want to go to an Ivy League university even though I live in the uk, you’ve mentioned multiple times before that you didn’t write your first line of code until university and you still got into Georgia tech. Im currently doing game development classes with UE5, a HTML CSS and JS course on udemy and have a volunteering position at a charity shop. I tried to teach children about scratch and show them how amazing basic programming can be because thats where my love for it cane from although the library said it was probably not possible I’m extremely worried about university and don’t know how much more I can do. I would really appreciate your advice but overall I really enjoy your content and thanks to you I found Ben who works at meta and enjoy his content too!
Hey Baxate! Love your content man, I am a big big fan. I am a freshman majoring in Comp Sci. But I also want to work on hardware after taming an EE class. I am not sure if I should double major or not. My school has a cpe curriculum but it doesnt focus on any software (there are two classes only). Of course I might stay an extra semester and that’s okay with me. Just want to know what you think!
Hey Bax, as someone that went to GT, do you think going to GT for CS as a second year transfer is worth being in around $80k debt by the time I graduate? (out of state student) My other option is to continue going to an in-state public university and only end up with around $15k debt. (for context this university is rated somewhere in the #70's for top CS colleges in the US) I wanna go to GT but not sure how much of a difference GT would be with experience, opportunities. education, etc.
