Hello, I’m currently studying computer engineering and I’d like to get into software engineering later on as a career path, but I was thinking about switching to computer science because it might be more beneficial in software engineering. However, when I saw your account I got really curious when I saw that you studied computer engineering and now you’re a software engineer, so can you please explain why you chose computer engineering as a major? Like is there any advantages?
hey Carter, of course there is no definitive answer, but i’d appreciate your insight on the matter. I’m currently an incoming computer science freshmen in a california community college deciding whether to transfer to something relatively cheap such as ucla or ucsd , or to a school like georgia tech. Taking into account the alumni status, career opportunities, etc. would you say the out-of-state tuition [average ~$30k a year (mine may be less due to low income)] is worth it in the long run?
Hey man I just wanted to ask some questions about where to save and invest my money, I’m 17 after I graduate I plan to move to Alaska where I have a job that pays for room and meals and since there is no state tax in Alaska I’ll be making $28 an hour that I almost keep to keep all to my self. I don’t plan on staying there forever but since I’ll have almost no expenses I was wondering where is my money best put. Like a high yield savings account or in an index fund or maybe something I don’t know about? I would like to invest the money I save maybe into real estate or something else that will generate more income for me, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hi, for a while now I've been following your account on tiktok and I just saw the last video you posted on how you spend your salary and I am truly impressed with how much you make and how you use it. I'm currently in my last year of high school and have been thinking for a while now to major and computer science since it's blooming field, and I like math but really I just have no idea what to do with my life and I feel like CS is not a thing that I'm going to regret. I'm from a third world country and I don't really have much information about this major, so could you please tell me about it? How hard is it? And how easy it is to find a job? And whether the work load is stressful? Thank you for your time.
