state of tech video
just saw your state of tech video. i recently asked what was better cc or bootcamp. my question is it even worth studying computer science now? especially with AI coming in and layoffs and everything.

Hi I am from Singapore and I came across your profile on TikTok and I just want to say I appreciate your advice so far :) I am currently a year 1 student in university and now I am having my summer vacation. I am not in the best of shape and I would like to improve that. I want to be realistic so I was thinking of starting just 3 exercises (pushups, planks and squats) to do at home for at least 5 days a week, I am thinking of starting with 10 pushups 30s plank and 15 squats for the first 2 weeks and every 2 weeks i will increase pushups and squats by 5 and planks by 10s. The reason I chose these exercises is because they are quite easy to pick up and they can help me keep a better posture (because I sit most of the time) Would appreciate your thoughts if these are good exercises to begin with and if my current target is realistic. Thank you so much in advance!
Hello Baxate, I wanna start first off by saying your content has really helped me out a lot as a CS student and aspiring SWE. I’m in a bit of a predicament right now trying to figure out where to continue my college education. I’m currently studying CS at a pretty average school and going into my junior year. I’ve also been accepted as a transfer student at BU for computer engineering. My issue is that BU, overall, I think has way more networking, internship opportunities, and academics. I also think that CE will help me be able to get more jobs (both hardware and software) but at the same time I would have to do an extra year to catch up on classes. This decision has been really weighing on me and I don’t know if starting at a new school and leaving everything behind is worth the extra year. Please let me know what you think! Thank you
I just got my financial aid denied by my college due to low GPA. Any advice?
I am a sophomore in college, And luckily managed to land a software engineering internship at GE Appliances. Let’s assume that I do well the first internship, And they extend my internship from just spring to the fall (During the fall of next year I will be a junior). Is it possible to get a full time job offer as a junior for after graduation? Or will companies typically not front job offers for the future?
