I got accepted into uc berkeley for the class of 2027, but not in CS. Im planning on majoring in applied math, and if possible double majoring in data science. Starting this year its incredibly difficult to transfer into cs or data science so I was wondering in the case I cant get into data science will it significantly decrease my chances of getting a tech job?
Debating on doing a CS degree or going into a bootcamp at the same university. I work in finance and trying to make a move into software engineering. Im 30 years old in Tampa,FL. All advice appreciated. Thank you
Hello Baxate! I hope you are doing well. Won’t take much of your time. Been binging your videos and it’s kind of worrying how I’m learning more about post-college life from you than my own college😂. If you don’t mind, how would recommend spending summer optimizing what to learn . As a sophomore computer engineer I’m realizing how behind I am in my software skills compared to my hardware. I would love to change that this summer. I could do an online course on data analysis using NumPy but I fear it is not the best course of action to take. I know I want to work with data but don't exactly know how to proceed. Nothing weighs as heavy as an unmade decision and I'm starting to overthink it all. Would you please share your insight on how you would optimize Summer to become better at data analysis and software engineering sorry for the long message to you and everyone. Hope you all have an incredible day!
I’m going to be a junior in high school next year and I have never really focused or have gotten good grades so going to a top school is kinda out of the question do u still think I could get into software engineering and be able to succeed in it?
