Hi I am currently a freshman in university. I have planning to do some personal projects to beef up my portfolio and resume and also to improve my skills. I also have been learning courses on Udemy. There are code-along guided projects in Udemy and I have been coding along and also learning from it. My question is would it be appropriate to use these projects as part of my personal projects. I am not sure if that is counted as a personal project since it is guided but at the same time I find it can be a little waste if I spend so many hours everyday coding these projects but I cannot show it as part of my portfolio.

Hi, I am currently going into my second year on an integrated masters degree in aerospace engineering at a top 5 university for my course (in England), whilst learning to code using leetcode and Codecademy along side. How would he best to break into the tech industry? Should I look for tech internships, get another masters in CS etc? Many thanks.

If so, can you give me some advice? I'm a 5'2 female weighing 174 pounds, and my goal is to lose 60 pounds. I can only work out at home, but I have a treadmill, and I'm considering getting dumbbells. I try to consume 1,500 calories everyday, but I'm unsure about the ideal macronutrient ratio for my situation. I'm attempting to follow a 35/35/30 ratio, which is 131 grams of carbs and protein, along with 50 grams of fat. However, I lack cooking skills and mainly eat out. Should I do an hour a day of cardio or strength training, and what's the best way to make a workout plan?

I have a background of five years of enterprise front-end experience, with average skills. However, I am a college dropout due to financial constraints and was unable to complete my bachelor’s degree in biology. Now, I am contemplating whether I should pursue a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics part time along with full-time tech job or simply gain more experience. Hi. I’m starting college in about a year and I just wanted to know what sort of equipment I should buy. I'm going to buy a laptop since I’m planning to study Computer Science and I’ll probably need it for other classes anyway but I’ve also seen a lot of people buy things that I feel like you’d get once you find an actual job. The main thing I see people get are computers. Right now my plan is to just buy the essentials and continue to buy things as I go along but, do you think a computer would actually be useful or is it unnecessary for a student? I know most people prefer to use computers but it will only be useful to me at home since I can’t take it to school and I don’t know if I’ll actually need it since I’ll have a laptop. What do you think?
