Hey Bax, i’ll give you some background information about me. I was introduced to coding in Dec of 2021 and felt like it was the first career i could ever actually like. By Jan 2022 I started learning full stack development and doing an online self paced program. I did that and finished by June that same year. I got a job but I only work when they had a project for me(it’s been almost two years and i’ve inly worked on 2 projects for a combined 2 months). Continued learning since then and tried looking for full time jobs for months but only ever got a few interviews that led nowhere. I stopped for a couple months and started to realize how far behind I was. I didn’t know anything about data structures and algorithms or had a decent portfolio website. Circumstances led to me having to return to school and I found out about WGU that let me do a B.S is Software Engineering at my own pace; started April 2023. All of this to ask if I should wait until I finish my schooling(could be Sep 23 or Mar 24) to start looking for jobs again or apply now and leave out schooling from my CV? And if it changes anything I am married and got laid off from my regular full time. Open to internships also.

Hey Jhan, great question! You are in a unique situation, but I will try and advise to the best of my ability.&nbsp; Don't wait to apply... specifically for internships. You will never feel "qualified" for the jobs you are applying for, I still don't, and this is okay. Based on what you said given your experience it sounds like you are most definitely able to get a job, so let's figure out why you might be struggling. Your resume and Linkedin likely need some work. Are those two projects you've completed on your resume? And if they are, do they truly communicate the value you've provided?&nbsp; Don't leave your education off your CV or resume. Instead, say you are pursuing the degree with expected graduation of Sep 23. Currently pursuing education is better than no education.&nbsp; Lastly, you need to apply, apply, apply. It's not uncommon for people to apply to hundreds, yes hundreds, of companies before they get their first offer.&nbsp; Hope this helps!

Hey Bax, thank you for replying so fast! My resume and Linkedin sure can use some work, I am currently in the process with a professional who soecilizes in resumes, Linkedin profiles and cover letters for software engineers. The two projects are currently on my resume but one of them is very frontend heavy and the other utilizes a what'sapp chatbot. I would like to add another project that shows my skills as a fullstack dev. I've seen both of your videos for project ideas and am currently in the process of finding a third project.
